This summer B semester i have to say was the fastest semester i have had by far! It was fun and entertaining, it was also boring and slow at times to, but nothing and no one is perfect. I thought that this being a summer class i would be able to buckle down and get work done unlike during the regular semesters but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I am not very proud of the way i conducted myself academically this semester but it was still fun. Natasha Olivera is the best English professor i have had at FIU and hopefully my last. She is nice but make sure to follow the rules, listen to what she says and do the work otherwise the kindness will not be seen. I really can't offer much in how i would change the course because it went by so fast. Two days a week is just not enough time for writing all the essays and doing all the work that needs to be done but Natasha some how crammed most of it in there.
I made a few friends in class and its fun but the semester is finally over and we will go our separate ways. I am going to miss my group the most, we worked so hard trying to get that final presentation finished and working it was exhausting. All in all it was a great class and i hope i don't have to repeat ENC 1102 again.
But they can hold you back if it's a failed class

The Neutral Policy
Teachers being neutral on the topic of homosexuality in the classroom i think is a smart idea. The only problem with this idea is trying to keep the teacher neutral in everyone's eyes. If a kid a curious or clueless about the topic and wants to know more i think that the parent should be the one to tell their child unless some kind of form is signed for a homosexuality class to be taken.
On the topic of bullying, why was that even brought up in the argument from CNN. Bullying is bullying it does not matter what type. Bullying should always be stopped as soon as it is seen not matter what is going on. A child should never be bullied period.
As for the neutrality policy, i think it's a good start in trying bring awareness about the topic while keeping the playing field fair. However it's not an easy thing to do. Being also a very touchy topic does not help the matter at all. Is being neutral also always the right option? I don't know, but i think people should have more faith in the educators of their children in teaching them right and wrong at school. And if people don't trust the teachers then maybe they should care more and have rules and laws changed so that better teachers will be placed in schools.

Wrong or Right with Casey Anthony
I'm just going to say this out front, I never saw or followed the Casey Anthony trail. That being said it is difficult for me to not choose the side throwing her in jail. I could go and look online and find out about what happened and whats going on but honestly it's none of my business and I don't care about it. Millions of people die every year due to violence. There is always war going on and men, women, and children dieing. The justice system our founding fathers created is what we use today and the truth is that there are loop holes. No system is perfect and i doubt a perfect system will ever be made. The Casey Anthony trail is just another one of those occurrences that gets people railed up saying this and pointing fingers. Yes maybe it's wrong that Casey wasn't convicted but what if its actually the right decision?
The problem is none will know the complete truth unless Casey admits she did what she did. This whole affair will soon blow ever and be forgotten. Sometimes i stop and think, how is it that our country can come together and unite under argument about someones personal life. Imagine everything this country could do if we united like this for important matters. It could honestly start another era for both America and the world. I say the world because if America united as a whole it would be no small feat being accomplished. It would change the world as we know.
The change will only be for the better if
1.America united as a country
2. America united not under violence but under an understanding for the greater good of both the people and the planet.
That's all i can say about it really, i didn't watch the trial nor care to research it.

TH [BOX] INK
What does it mean to think outside the box? Does it mean to think literally outside of a box? or to think in a way that breaks boundaries. To me thinking outside the box is about setting the mind free, exploring new methods and ideas, but above all else not letting any kind of shackles, or box, keep you from truly experiencing just how far you can go.
This is my very first blog and i still don't know how i feel about it. Half of me looks forward to being able to freely express myself and just put everything on my mind down on the internet; the other half of me only sees time spent on the computer doing work. So far i feel like blogging will be fun and an exciting new addition to my life but i won't know for sure until after a few more blog posts.
I don't mind sharing my blog with the world and letting people read what i have to write. I don't mind because honestly i don't care if people read this, if they hate it good for them if they love it that's cool to but in my mind, in my vision, this blog was made for me and anyone who says others wise can stop reading here and click that little red X on the top right of your browser.
One thing that everyone who reads my blog should expect is freelance writing that's completely opinionated. There will be no set structure for every time i write. Whatever happens, happens and the world will move on.
The new summer semester has started, Summer B, and one of my assignments is to go and write this blog. With the new semester its been a little difficult readjusting from summer. I have evaluated my life before, broken it down bit by bit and tried to figure out what i was doing with my life. I do this every now and again to make sure i keep myself on track or to get myself back on track for a brighter future. Currently my 3 main goals are to pass all my classes, Make going to the gym a routine, and to start saving up money to move out. Evaluating ones self is a way to find out who you are, where you want to be, and how to get there, it's also a way to learn from your mistakes.
